Wholesale Millwork

Dallan Construction is building out the new Virginia Distribution Center for Wholesale Millwork off Carolina Avenue. The 46,397 sf project consists of demolishing two CMU demising walls and a steel mezzanine, installing a new overhead door with asphalt ramp, overlaying portions of the existing parking lot and reconfiguring the office area to meet ADA requirements. The project will be complete in January, 2012.

RCM&D Expansion

Dallan Construction Inc is nearing completion of an 11,400 sf renovation for RCM&D at their Innsbrook location. RCM&D is relocating to the third floor of the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association building on Innslake Drive. Renovation is scheduled for completion by the end of November 2011.

Serco in Chesapeake

Dallan Starts Patient First Expansion

Dallan Construction has started construction on an 18,000sf expansion of Patient First Corporate office in Innsbrook. With this expansion, Patient First will occupy the entire 57,970sf of the Tech Point 1 building and a portion of the Tech Point II building. Included as part of this expansion will be the installation of a 400KW generator. This is a (5) phase expansion that is expected to be completed by February 2012.

Dallan Awarded Office Building

Dallan Construction has just been engaged as the design/build contractor for a new 26,000 square feet office building to be built on Parham Road in Henrico County. This two story building will be known as Parham Place III. Construction is scheduled to start in the third quarter of this year.

Dallan Completes Hampton, VA Up-Fit Project.

Dallan Construction Inc. recently completed an approximately 29,000 square-foot up-fit project for First Potomac Management and their tenant, TRG Customer Solutions, in Hampton, VA. The project involved construction of a 420 station call center, along with associated offices and an IT center. Working closely with the City of Hampton, First Potomac and TRG, Dallan and its team were able to complete this approximately $700,000 project in forty-four (44) calendar days.

Dallan Nears Completion of Office Renovation

Dallan Construction is nearing completion of an interior office renovation for several state agencies at what was formerly the UKROP’s corporate office. Dallan was challenged with adding two new entrances to the building, which required designing solutions that would meet ADA Compliance while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Dallan completely renovated the interior including the plumbing, mechanical, drywall, carpet, paint, and finishing. Dallan is scheduled to complete this project on time and within budget.

Dallan Construction utilized one of the largest cranes in Richmond to secure a 6,000 lb. air handling unit on top of a roof for E.R. Carpenter & Company. Installing the air handling unit is part of an overall lab project Dallan has been working on. Dallan’s experience with unique challenges that labs sometimes face positioned them well to manage the project through to completion.
